OS 4.5 or 4.3

This was posted on boygeniusreport.com

"We have received information from a very credible source that OS 4.3.1, mentioned in conjunction with BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 Service Pack 5 in November's Connecting With The Experts webinar and apparently forgotten in yesterday's press release from RIM at Lotusphere, has actually been re-branded as OS 4.5. There will be nothing missing from this new version that is packaged with the same enhancements previously reported with OS 4.3.x, including long-awaited HTML e-mail capabilities. As initial carrier certification comes to a close, the general availability dates are still expected to fall somewhere between late February and the few months following, depending on the carrier. This morning's official press release made more than a few heads in the online BlackBerry community perform a double-take, as OS 4.3.1 beta releases have been highly visible in various circles since carrier certification began last October. Per our sources, due to the number of enhancements being added to the OS, it was a marketing decision to change the version number. As we've previously mentioned, this should be perhaps the most anticipated OS releases for end-users since the release of OS 4.0, nearly three years ago."

Boygeniusreport.com also said that pictures they had of an unknown Blackberry that was up for bid on ebay was the new 9000 version of the blackberry. So is boygenius just poolin our chain again or is this credible?

Still wondering when the new 4.3 os will be released for your phone? So are we, along with the rest of the world. Many claimed early December others said early January but as of now (mid January) it looks like everyone was wrong. Hopefully us Crackberry addicts won't have to wait much longer. Maybe with the new release it will be a world free of glitches. (Ha)

E-office Beta

NEWS

I'm currently testing the eOffice Beta for Dynoplex. So far it looks promising even in the beta stages. Even as I type its giving me real time information about my spelling. After some fixes are made to the beta (hopefully soon) probably in the next month I will be writing a full review about the beta version, after some extensive testing of course. So keep an eye out for the review on the home page of crackberryism.com in the upcoming month.

BB 9000 or Hoax?

About a week ago a auction showed up on ebay claiming that they had a non working Blackberry but didn't know which version it was. The internet went crazy and most websites used the pictures from the bid claiming that they had the inside scoop on the new 9000 series Blackberry. I guess sites will do anything to get some traffic. Boy Genius was one of the websites that did this. Obviously nobody knew if it was the new 9000 series or not so it was mostly a load of bull on there part. The bid started at one cent and ended up around 425 USD before it was pulled from ebay. Was it a photoshop hoax? A fake model or stolen prototype? No one is sure as of now but its going to be interesting to see what happens with this so called fakeberry. Or is it?
